General information only
The content and tools on Radius Map Studio are provided for general information, exploration, education and preliminary planning. Maps and calculations may be incomplete, outdated or unsuitable for a particular purpose. Nothing here constitutes legal, surveying, planning, transport-compliance, real estate, emergency-response or engineering advice.
Straight-line circles are not road reach
A radius can show a point-to-point distance on an Earth model without accounting for roads, ferries, mountains, borders, water bodies, traffic rules or congestion. An isochrone may approximate reachable areas from a model but is not a guarantee of actual arrival time. For time-critical travel, use current official routing and local conditions.
Area and parcel limitations
An outline drawn with a mouse or touchscreen does not establish property rights, legal acreage or deed boundaries. Projections, map resolution, digitization and selected vertices can affect measured area. Obtain a licensed survey and authoritative land records where needed.
Population, ZIP codes and address search
Statistical boundaries are not postal delivery routes; point-based ZIP locations are not complete ZIP polygons. Population estimates may be interpolated from census areas and can contain sampling, vintage and allocation error. Search engines may match an ambiguous address or a nearby point rather than an exact rooftop.
Statutory 150 air-mile references
An air-mile radius is not the same as a truck’s road mileage. Transport regulations have additional conditions beyond geometry. Check current official rules and employer requirements before making hours-of-service or recordkeeping decisions. Our air-mile tool is only a visualization aid.
Third-party services and uptime
Embedded mapping, geocoding, routing, population and hosting services can be unreachable, incomplete or limited by license, quotas, geography or operational changes. External links are supplied for reference. Their content, availability and privacy practices are governed by their own operators.
No warranty and liability
To the extent allowed by applicable law, this website and its materials are supplied “as is” without an assurance of uninterrupted operation or fitness for a specific decision. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liabilities that cannot lawfully be excluded. Verify all critical inputs and results independently.
Corrections and concerns
A questionable result should be reported through Contact Us with reproduction steps. Our editorial policy explains how corrections are reviewed and disclosed. See the Terms of Service for broader permitted use.
Frequently asked questions
Is a radius a legal service or zoning boundary?
No. A displayed circle does not establish official jurisdiction or coverage rights.
Can I use these numbers for an emergency plan?
Not as the sole source. Obtain current local authoritative information and account for real-world access constraints.
Are population estimates exact counts?
No. Partial census-area estimates depend on source year, geographic units and allocation method.
Can a map area replace a land survey?
No. A measured drawing is not a legal boundary determination.
