Who operates this site
This website is published by Qudoos. Privacy inquiries can be addressed to [email protected]. This statement explains the intended behavior of this WordPress mapping plugin. The hosting provider, WordPress core, other installed plugins and advertising or analytics services, if independently enabled, can introduce additional processing; site owners must revise this policy to reflect their real deployment.
Location and map interactions
The browser only requests precise device location when a visitor actively chooses a location-based function and grants permission. For ordinary circle, polygon, midpoint or distance calculations, coordinates can be processed in browser memory. Browsing an interactive map sends tile requests and general network metadata to the map-tile provider. If a visitor searches for an address, the search string is sent to the configured geocoding provider via this website’s server, which may cache public search responses.
If a routing provider is configured, selected origin coordinates and desired travel mode/time are sent from the browser to this site and then to the configured provider. If a site operator adds a demographic data integration, the spatial query may be processed on the server. Do not assume every optional integration runs fully on-device.
What this plugin does not require
- The plugin does not create user accounts for its public calculators.
- This plugin does not include a behavioral advertising tracker by default.
- It does not silently start geolocation tracking in the background.
- It does not automatically sell visitor location histories or store GPS tracks in a user profile.
- A shared map URL may include coordinates: do not share the link if the location is sensitive.
Hosting logs, emails and WordPress
Web servers and security services commonly process IP addresses, user agents, request paths, approximate timestamps and operational logs for legitimate security and troubleshooting. Emails sent to the contact address remain subject to the email-provider systems. WordPress, themes and separately installed plugins may add cookies, analytics, comments, authentication or forms beyond this mapping plugin. Review the full installed stack before publishing a definitive disclosure.
Third-party map and location services
Map tiles may be requested from OpenStreetMap community servers or a separately configured tile provider. Address search, when enabled, can use OpenStreetMap Nominatim or another configured provider. Optional travel-time isochrones can use OpenRouteService. Their privacy notices and data policies apply independently. We provide attribution and avoid claiming these vendors are our own services.
Legal bases and visitors’ choices
The legal basis for location-related processing depends on the type of request and the visitor's jurisdiction. Precise device geolocation is requested only after a visitor chooses My location and the browser presents a permission prompt. You can refuse this request and use coordinates or an address instead. For questions about privacy rights or consent, contact [email protected].
Retention and transfers
This mapping functionality does not create a named account, saved GPS journey history or permanent personal route archive. Our web host and security systems may retain ordinary service logs; third-party search and routing providers apply their own retention practices. You may request information about data we control at [email protected]. We do not claim to control another provider's independent logs.
Requests and policy changes
Questions and privacy requests may be sent to [email protected]. You may request access, correction or deletion of information that we actually control, subject to applicable law and any necessary identity verification. This policy was reviewed on October 27, 2026; material changes in location-service behavior will be reflected here.
Public address search and Nominatim fallback
If the operator has not configured a commercial geocoder, this plugin may send a user-submitted place-name query to the public OpenStreetMap Nominatim service through the WordPress server. Queries are sent only when users press Find; autocomplete is not implemented. Responses may be cached as shared WordPress transients for around 30 days.
To reduce load on community servers, a global request throttle is applied. Public Nominatim availability, logging and permitted usage are governed by its own published terms. A commercial or self-hosted service is recommended for higher-volume production deployments.
Specific categories of information
Coordinates: map points, drawn geometry and optional browser location. Search text: queries submitted to the geocoding endpoint. Technical information: ordinary server, firewall and hosting logs. Correspondence: emails voluntarily sent to the listed address.
Map controls generally operate in the current browser page; however, search and route requests may be sent through the server. Shared URLs may encode coordinates and route points, so recipients of such links can reconstruct the contained locations.
Security and privacy requests
No Internet system can guarantee absolute security. We aim to minimize sensitive location collection: you can perform ordinary circle and coordinate calculations without granting device GPS access. For sensitive addresses, avoid sharing map URLs, because those links can encode center points, route vertices and distances.
Readers may ask questions about personal information actually held by the site operator using the published email. Rights, verification requirements and responses depend on applicable jurisdiction and the real systems deployed.
Analytics, advertising and third-party plugins
This plugin package does not independently embed a behavioral advertising SDK. If the operator later installs analytics tags, advertising services, contact forms, newsletter tools, video embeds or other third-party WordPress plugins, this notice must be revised to identify those services and any required consent mechanisms.
This statement describes the mapping plugin's own request flows. Hosting, security, analytics, advertising and other services independently active on this WordPress installation may add data processing. Contact us if you want clarification about a particular request, vendor or service used by this website.
Optional public ZIP source and information sent to third parties
The WordPress administrator can install a publicly licensed ZIP reference file. When an on-page ZIP or population lookup runs, the browser sends the selected latitude, longitude, radius and requested calculation to this website's WordPress AJAX endpoint. The server compares the request with its installed dataset. The tool is not designed to create an account or store a person's completed radius search as a named profile, although ordinary hosting/security logs may still record network activity.
Optional address search can call Geoapify through the website server or the public Nominatim service when configured. Those services receive the submitted location text and processing metadata subject to their own policies. A route-time calculation, when enabled, passes selected coordinates and minutes to OpenRouteService. Map tiles are fetched from the configured tile provider, which can see normal network request information such as IP address and tile requests.
Choices regarding location and sharing
Device geolocation is requested only after clicking the location control; if you decline, type a place or click the map instead. A copied share link may include coordinates, polygon points and radius values in its URL. Anyone with that link can view the embedded geographic information, so do not share sensitive addresses. GeoJSON, KML and GPX downloads save the chosen coordinates on your own device.
Privacy notices must match live deployment
Site operators should review analytics scripts, advertising tags, cookie tools, security services, caching and hosting integrations actually enabled on the deployed WordPress installation. This notice describes this plugin's intended operations, not every possible additional WordPress plugin installed by an administrator. Contact [email protected] for questions or privacy requests.
WorldPop and geolocation requests
When you ask the population calculator to estimate a radius, the selected rounded map coordinates and distance are submitted by this website's server to WorldPop's public population-statistics service. WorldPop receives the geographic polygon needed for the request; the website caches an aggregated result by rounded coordinates and radius for up to 14 days. The browser may also send address searches to the configured geocoding provider when you initiate them. Do not enter sensitive private addresses if you do not want those services to receive the search location. Browser GPS access is requested only on user interaction.
Results are model-based statistics, not real-time personal tracking. The third-party services have their own privacy policies and request logging. Contact [email protected] about site-specific questions. This description covers the mapping plugin and must be updated if the website owner adds analytics, advertising or other integrations.
